Established in 1998, the Committee for Wyndham is the business voice of the region of Wyndham. Bringing together business, community, Government and individuals to collaborate in promoting and enhancing Wyndham’s social and economic wellbeing.

The Committee for Wyndham had outgrown it’s branding and website, and needed a strategic over-hall to bring it in line with the organisations core values and future direction. Faced with several challenges including outdated design, poor visual communication about the organisation and lack of community awareness, there was an opportunity for a complete brand rejuvenation.

BEFORE

The Project

With an outdated logo and limited community awareness, the Committee for Wyndham faced a critical challenge: their brand no longer resonated with their audience or effectively communicated their mission.

The website had also become outdated and failed to inspire engagement or convey the vibrant identity that they aspired to build. A complete brand refresh was required with clear goals to modernise their digital presence, attract new members, boost newsletter subscriptions, and foster stronger participation in events.

BRANDING

Consultations to gain clarity on the vision for the brand going forward ensured a brief that provided clear objectives and considerations. Several concepts and directions were explored, resulting in a culmination of elements to create the final logo design and a visual language for the brand.

The new logo embodies the Committee for Wyndham’s three core strategic priorities of Advocacy, Connection, and Education for businesses and the community within Wyndham.

The abstract ‘W’ symbol gives a subtle nod to Wyndham, while its dynamic form also highlights a ‘V’ for Victoria, emphasising the importance of connecting Wyndham with other regions and the broader state vision. The interconnected elements of the logo reflects unity, with an upward momentum to symbolise growth. While the triangular forms act like a pinpoint, highlighting the Committee’s focus on Wyndham.

A revitalised colour palette – featuring shades of green, blue, and grey/sage – draws inspiration from Wyndham’s natural beauty, blending its agricultural heritage with its dynamic urban and coastal development. Overall, the brand rejuvenation for the Committee for Wyndham celebrates Wyndham’s past, present, and future while reinforcing the Committee’s dedication to progress and connection.

With new branding established, we turned our attention to creating a website that would seamlessly bring the brand to life online. The goal was to design a digital experience that not only reflected the updated visual identity but also provided an intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly platform for the audience. By aligning the website’s design with the brand’s core values and objectives, we aimed to ensure that every interaction reinforced the brand’s message, informed visitors and encouraged membership.

Enhanced Member Engagement: Improved membership features that highlight the different packages available, as well as events and membership benefits encourages new sign-ups.

Simplified Event Registrations: The clients preferred CRM and event management system was seemlesly integrated to streamline the event booking and management process.
