Silverback Studios is a boutique Pilates studio in Newport, Melbourne, founded by Dawn Pitt. With small group classes, short courses, and 1:1 sessions led by experienced instructors, the studio had grown a loyal following. The business was expanding. But the digital presence hadn’t kept up.
We were entrusted to redesign Silverback Studios’ website after it became clear their DIY site was no longer serving the business. The structure was confusing and services weren’t easy to find or book. The disconnect between the in-studio experience and the online presence was holding them back. What they needed was a site that felt aligned and reflected the warmth and professionalism the studio is known for.
The Project
Silverback Studios had grown steadily, building a strong reputation and loyal community. But its original website hadn’t evolved with the business. The layout was confusing, key services weren’t clearly explained, and the booking process lacked direction. It didn’t reflect the quality and genuine connection that clients experienced in person – and it certainly wasn’t making things easier behind the scenes.
The brand’s message was also getting lost. What made Silverback different wasn’t coming through online, and that disconnect created hesitation and confusion with potential clients. We completely reimagined the Silverback Studios website from the ground up, not just as a digital brochure, but as a functional tool to support the client journey and reflect the studio’s values.
We started with audience insight and UX strategy to clearly define user pathways, simplify navigation, and reduce decision fatigue. Each service now lives on its own dedicated page with clear explanations, structured layouts, and well-placed calls to action. The booking process is streamlined and accessible across all devices.
The messaging was refined to communicate warmth, credibility, and expertise, which is what sets Silverback apart in person, but was previously missing online. Visually, we leaned into a clean, welcoming aesthetic that balances approachability with expertise.
Behind the scenes, the site was built for ease of maintenance and scalability. The result is a fast, user-friendly platform that gives Silverback the confidence to grow, while giving new clients every reason to book.
